Adam Spencer’s career highlights cover a wide variety of disciplines. He started out studying Arts/Law and ended up with an honours degree in Pure Mathematics and has an immense interest in science. These passions led Adam to host ‘Quantum’ and ‘FAQ’ on ABC TV from 1998 to 2001. Adam was a regular guest on Channel Ten’s ‘Good News Week’ Debate series and ABC's ‘The Glasshouse’.
Speaking experience
Adam Spencer has extensive speaking experience. Among his outstanding achievements he has been voted 'Best Speaker in the World’ at the World University Debating Championships. Prior to this, Adam was captain of the Australian Debating Team for 3 years. He was winner of the National Championships and winner of the Australian University Championships. Personal Profile
Adam’s Triple J web page makes several dubious claims about his past including that he was a world class young tennis player (losing the 1985 junior Wimbledon tournament to the 17-year-old Goran Ivanisevic); that he had a non speaking role in the movie Young Guns 2; and that he is actually in a long term relationship with Olympic Tae Kwon Do Gold Medallist Lauren Burns. It is unlikely that any of these things is true.
