The Dukes of Debonair are simply an amazing jazz group, how are sure to get you event moving and grooving to the like of;
Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, Ella Fitzgerald, just to name a few. Like all good jazz musicians they like to vary their repertoire playing anything from real swingers to cool and breezy bossa nova beats. The Dukes of Debonaire delight fans with their toe tapping tunes and romantic ballads.

The Dukes of Debonaire truly live up to their name. Resplendent in finely cut suits and expensive ties, the Dukes lend a visual elegance and charm to their surrounds whenever they set up their instruments and “start cooking” (as they say in jazz parlance). Along with their astounding musicianship, the urbane wit and mellow sophistication percolates through a Dukes of Debonaire show. It truly is a full entertainment experience.

But isn’t it time we made some introductions? Who are these dashing Dukes of Debonaire?

The Dukes are a jazz trio comprising of piano, double bass, drums and vocals. Grant Siedle tinkles the piano and sings like a nightingale. D.J. Nelson plucks the big double bass and doesn’t mind a warble now and then too. These two gents, the co-founders of the group, regularly recruit some of the best drummers in Melbourne to accompany them in their different shows.

The Dukes of Debonaire are one of the most sought after jazz trios around Melbourne right now. So listen out, come inside their world and hear them soon!
