Andy Seymour, entertainer and actor, started playing drums professionally at 12 years old. By age 15, he was playing for featured acts and floorshows. His love of singing and entertaining brought him out from behind the drums and now he shares his talents from the front of the stage. Blessed with a powerful vocal range, Andy utilizes his vocal ability to create a soulful, sweet sound that suits cool Jazz, Big Band Swing, Gospel, Powerhouse Soul and high energy Rock & Roll.
Andy’s immense versatility shines in all he presents. Backed by his Studio City Orchestra, Andy delivers crooning lounge, spicy salsa rhythms, swingin’ Big-Band faves, hi-energy 50’s & 60’s Rock ‘n Roll and powerhouse Pop & Soul.
Andy’s successful shows, “The Gospel according to Elvis”, and “Crooners & Swooners” have also enjoyed high profile accolades.
His tribute to the Gospel music of Elvis has enjoyed two consecutive sellouts in the Adelaide International Cabaret Festival, a sellout concert in the Adelaide Festival Theatre and the Coonawarra Arts Festival.
His show “Crooners & Swooners” looks at the hits of Nat King Cole, Frank, Deano & Bobby Darin, through to Engelbert, Tom & Elvis. This show too, sold out Adelaide’s Festival Theatre along with a string of accolades.
