During a sell out New York run, The New York Times called The Nualas ‘cheeky, irreverent, quick-witted… and fun’. At The Nualas farewell Edinburgh show, The English Independent wrote ‘Let’s face it, with writing as funny as theirs, these girls could sing about watching someone watch paint dry and we would still be riveted.’ The Sunday Times called The Nualas ‘something rare’, the Scotsman ordered punters to ‘Kill to get a ticket’. The Dublin Event Guide called The Nualas ‘simply resonantly hilarious.’
Josephine O’Reilly was the Artistic Director and a principal performer with Boom Chicago, the American improvisation comedy company based in Amsterdam, Holland. Marrying skills, laughs and their experience of growing up on different sides of the tracks, Tanya and Josephine have teamed together in Tan Jose, selling out at the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals and noted by Melbourne’s Herald Sun for Tanya’s ‘hilarious visual comedy”, Josephine’s ‘smashing voice’ and their ‘great onstage relationship.’ (The Age)
